This Guide Association residential centre has a good refurbished abseil tower, with new climbing holds, in the grounds. Please take care when using the tower; the top is open on one side with the handrail bar missing (this is also the side where the ladder arrives at the top). It would be advised to belay participants from the ground back to the ground (i.e. tied on at all stages including waiting at the top). The centre intend to rectify this as soon as possible.
